Betanine HCI
increase levels of digestive acids in the stomach. It is essential that people taking aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs) avoid this supplement, because in combination they increase the risk of stomach bleeding.

Gymnema Sylvestre
may alter required dosages for insulin or oral diabetes drugs; consult your doctor before taking this herb with and medication for diabetes.

Liquorice
can increase blood pressure and should be avoided by people taking drugs to counteract high blood pressure or any medication that alters blood pressure; take deglycyrrhised liquorice (DGL) instead.
